To chose the top five Hollywood motivational movies was a difficult task, over the years Hollywood has given us numerous motivational movies from which we have learned several things, some movies encourage us to do better and there are some movies through which we learn what not to do. Here are our top five Hollywood motivational movies:

5. Theory of everything:

Who hasn’t heard of the name Stephen Hawking, a great theoretical physicist of our time. The movie is based on Hawking’s life, Hawking had a disease called motor neuron disease, which causes muscle weakness over time. Hawking lost his voice and walking capability but one thing he did not lose was his passion for physics and the universe. He showed us that no matter what happens to you in life, you can still achieve your goals. The man in the wheelchair who earned numerous awards gives us nothing but motivation to do what we love the most.

4. Wolf of Wall Street:

Wolf of Wall Street is another movie based on the real story of Jordan Belfort and directed by none other than Martin Scorsese. This movie teaches us so many different things but most importantly it teaches us never to lose motivation. Belfort first started as a broker in Wall Street but soon Wall Street hit a dead end, but he never lost hope, he kept on going and worked for a small company and earned huge profits on pink sheets. He then made his own broker company, but unfortunately, he got into the wrong side of the road and made illegal activities, and got caught. This teaches us that motivation is good but never use it for negative things. He served his time, and is now a motivational speaker and teaches how to sell stuff.

3. Good Will hunting:

Good Will Hunting is not based on a true story but that doesn’t mean it teaches us nothing. This movie also gives us motivation, in this movie starring Robin Williams, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck. Matt Damon plays the role of a spoiled fella, he is short-tempered but his IQ level was above genius, he worked as a janitor at MIT. One day an MIT professor puts up a rather difficult problem on the university board, and who solves it? A janitor, he puts another problem and caught Matt Damon solving it, again the janitor’s answer was right. He met the janitor (Matt Damon) in jail and he put a proposal that he will get him released under his observation but he has to see a psychotherapist, to which he agrees. Robin Williams plays the role of psychotherapist, he tried his best to solve his problems but at first, it was difficult as Matt Damon was not opening up to him. But later he does and it changes everything for him. Now this movie portrays that you can do great things if you have a great mind, but you need someone to trust you.
